About Manuvikasa
MANUVIKASA is a non-governmental organization based in Karjagi Village, Siddapur, Karnataka, registered in 2003. As a non-profit and non-political entity, its vision focuses on conserving natural resources, promoting sustainable livelihoods, improving rural education, and fostering human values. The organization addresses key issues related to the environment, education, and women's empowerment across multiple districts in Karnataka, including Uttara Kannada, Dharwad, and Shivamogga. MANUVIKASA has implemented various projects, such as lake rejuvenation and farm pond construction, which enhance groundwater tables, improve biodiversity, and support rural livelihoods.
Daan Utsav Initiative
For Daan Utsav, MANUVIKASA is hosting "A Day in a Village Government School" to enrich rural students' learning. The event will include storytelling sessions, interactive presentations on science and technology, and environmental awareness discussions. Additionally, students will participate in art and craft activities, fostering creativity and practical skills. This initiative aligns with MANUVIKASA's mission to improve rural education and inspire a love for learning.
